1/30/2024 0 Comments Cool terraria house![]() ![]() Plus the order in which all of the bars are kept in their own chest makes makes up for a lot of time that would otherwise be put into taking the bars out. The entrance is on the way back from where I smelt the ores. Thing is, whenever I want to put new bars into storage, the location is quite convenient. You would think so, because it is a bit out-of-the-way. Originally posted by Mickmane:Isn't that far too awkward to get to stuff when you need it? There's of course always the odd thing I temporarily dump in a different chest and then don't know where it went. With regular playing I tend to find most stuff quick. I started colour and type coding long before naming chests was added to the game, and I don't care to hover over each to find what I'm looking for either. :)Īnd so on, there's souls, and summoning items and whatnot all in their own area/chest. The white/red/yellow/blue painted slime chests with the white sign underneath have fishing stuff for friends to borrow/take when they come for a fishing visit. Near the top of the Workshop is mud, rocks, wood (the 50:50 coloured chests indicate which wood is where), sand, ice.Ī few chests near the teleporter have misc stuff I want quick access to, like paintbrush and paint I use most often, stuff to make furniture for my showcase houses (I haven't added the new stuff yet - those houses also have each the respective crafting station), and minecart track building. Underneath that are 2 Water and 1 Slime chest with ready to use outfits with additional melee weapons, and Spectre, Shroomite, Spooky armour, with fitting weapons, potions, and accessories for each. used to have the fish weapons/tools too, until I found out I can put them on weapon racks, now I want to put them somewhere nice sooner or later). The bin near the Tinkerer has stuff I sell now and then (low level potions, glowsticks, accessories I already have a pile of. (The one with paint behind it has paint.) Gold and Shadow and Ivy chests under the crafting stations have ores and bars and Hallow/Corrupt/Crimson rocks and similar. As you can see I spread out into the arch for lack of room (there's tons of Pumpkin and Frost Moon weapons in there). The chests to the right from the black/white ones in the (green) Workshop on have weapons and armour, one line for each type of weapon, and accessories at the top. If you'd like something explained further or want more examples of anything, just ask! I'm not sure if I'm going to add any more sections after this one, but I'm more than happy to add anything on to existing ones or give you advice for your build.Top area, the Lab, has stuff to make potions, I keep adding more chests as I run out of space. ![]() Give it propellers, or maybe rockets- just something. Building on floating islands is fine, but please don't just have a random house floating in the middle of nowhere. One last thing for this section: don't make random floating builds unless they have something "holding" them up, such as clouds or some kind of mechanical thing. If you see a neat hill or crevasse, or simply some interesting-looking geography, don't flatten it all out! Make your build flow with the terrain, and it'll look a lot more natural and nice. If this house was without the stilts and in regular Purity, it wouldn't have the same effect.Īnother important thing to do is to build around the terrain you're given. ![]() If you'll look at this build I whipped up, you can notice that I've built it on stilts of mahogany in the jungle water. ![]()
